Safety & security for children. Peace of mind for parents.
This is for couples with young children who:
You do not want your child to spend a single night in foster care if it’s not necessary (which it’s not, provided you legally appoint backups & assign legal authority). Learn how to name guardians for your children.
Make sure (only!) the people you trust are the ones who will help you in an emergency.
Protect your family’s privacy! You do not want all your children’s names, ages, and how much money they are receiving to become easy public knowledge in Probate Court. (This revocable living trust -based plan is designed to help you avoid Probate during lifetime incapacity or after death.)
Don’t let super sentimental items get lost in the shuffle.
Make sure your children receive their inheritance the best way possible.
Leave a legacy, not a mess.
#adultsohard > rest easy knowing only the people you trust will be able to help if necessary
If you would feel more comfortable with the benefit of more in-depth legal guidance on how to make these difficult decisions together, and specific legal advice regarding the administrative and tax implications of your life insurance and retirement account beneficiary designations, and the pros and cons of transferring title to your real estate based on your unique family and financial circumstances, our comprehensive estate planning process will better suit your needs. With that process, we will engage in discussion to help you thoroughly explore every angle of your financial and legal planning so you can make the most well-informed choices for your family’s future.
Your investment in your family’s safety & security & your peace of mind starts at a base fee of $3350.*
There will never be any surprise bills from our office! We believe in full transparency throughout the process.

DGVE law is a boutique Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust and Estate Administration law firm founded by top-rated Massachusetts Attorney Danielle G. Van Ess in Hingham in 2008.
We help our clients leave a legacy, rather than a paper mess or infighting, by planning ahead, and we guide surviving loved ones, with compassion and empathy, through the difficult process of wrapping up final affairs after death.
Serving Massachusetts clients all around the Greater Boston area, from the South Shore to the Cape, from MetroWest to the North Shore and back again. We’re worth the drive, but we can condense meetings, and schedule video and phone conferences too.
Some important points: (1) Merely seeing this website or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship (we need a written agreement). (2) DGVE law practices law within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts only. (3) DGVE law welcomes matters related to the listed practice areas in accordance with Massachusetts Rule of Professional Conduct 7.4. (4) This website is intended to provide general information, not specific legal advice. (5) Any unauthorized use of our firm’s material is at the user’s own risk.
